Kevin Gassman

I used to live and work in Phoenix, AZ. I left in Oct 2017 to move back to Southern California, where I grew up. After working at a few media companies, I ended up at SiriusXM working as an AP for the Mad Dog Sports Channel and their West coast shows. I ended up leaving in early 2022 to become my mother's fulltime caregiver. 

Ram Dass says we're just walking each other home. Well, when you're caregiving, that phrase means a whole lot more. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to care for her. 

Thoughtout this time I learned a lot about myself. I also read a few books that had a positive impact on my life. "The Surrender Experiement" by Michael Singer and "How To Change Your Mind" by Michael Pollan (see pics below). 

I've had many strange experiences during this time of self-discovery as well. Synchronicities come to mind :) And still do. They're so much fun to notice!

The one thing I would like to share with others is that you must take care of yourself before taking care of someone else. 

Eat healthy, be active and 

have something to live for. :)
